I love to read and write! I usually read fantasy, but I will try any other book if it is recommended. My writings are fantasy. I'm still trying to figure out Tumblr, so tips are appreciated.

I had this really weird dream last night. Most of the beginning and the end is irrelevant, but somewhere in the middle my brain created three races.
Willo-the-Wisps - I have no idea why my brain decided to call the race I am about to describe Willo-the-Wisps, probably because I read a short story about them that evening, but they’re interesting nonetheless.
Whenever one of these human-like beings are born a tree is born with them, but the tree is born in some strange underground cavern. The tree holds the being’s soul. I’m not at all sure how this works, but it sounds like a fun idea to explore.
The Willo-the-Wisps live in an idyllic world where everything is verdant and shiny. It looked like a true paradise.
Soulshakers - This race possesses others. I think it’s where their name come from. I’m envisioning them as the natural enemies of the Willo-the-Wisps. Then, maybe, the soul trees evolved from the need to protect themselves from the Soulshakers.
The Soulshakers lived in a prehistoric Earth. They were shaman-like and very violent.
Humans - Well, I guess my brain didn’t come up with this race, but I felt like I should include it anyways.
The humans in my dream came from a world that was ruled by robots. In my dream I, a Soulshaker, actually help a friend kill some of these oppressive robots.
I think that the three world will become one diverse world if I use this for a story idea, and some the races’ features will change a tad.
Anyways, after those races interacted my dream evolved into a hunt for cheesecake and lost all structure, but it was fun while it lasted.
What do you guys think of these three races? Have you guys ever gotten inspiration from a dream?
